The 12volt light above the bed on our 2015 Troll stopped working, only the blue ring lit up.

Looking on auction site and caravan accessory shop I can get two for around £20.0 not exactly the same as the one fitted but good enough.

just for the sake of it I emailed a dealer in Cumbria to ask the price of the Hymer replacement light and got a shock, £48 .99 they want plus £10 postage
Guess which one i will go for.

That will be the reading light, a little known trick with them lights is that they are dimmable. If you keep your finger on the on/off button whilst the light is on it will dim.

Top tip that, well done. You've just dragged me away from the TV to check that out. The two original reading lights at the bed end of our Triton dim a treat. The Hymer replacement for the normal touch downlight at the front dining end is not so effective. This looks exactly the same but is polished and not satin.

Go to Amazon and search ‘lighteu 12V 3W D1’ look through their models and you should find a replacement light for about £17.00 and is the same as original. I’ve replaced the two in my Eriba, you might have to cut out a little slot in the mounting for the wiring.

We've ordered a new 530, regarding the reading lights on newer models with fixed bed are the reading lights on the same side or still on opposite sides?

Mum on a Mission Becky off Facebook posted this the other day. Don't know if it's the same thing that is being talked about in this thread but maybe of interest to someone all the same.
