Wanted: pole for Isabella Shadow 300 canopy

In need of carbonx pole for Shadow 300 as one broke whilst I was trying to put canopy back up in gusty winds. Believe pole is same for Shadow 360/400/500. It's not the hook type pole but has a butt at top to go through set hole in canopy

Have you tried e-bay. I recall somebody who sells odd Isabella poles. I am guessing they must buy up broken awnings.

I have looked on eBay Colin but nothing there. Will keep looking though. Even out of stock at Isabella.net. Must have been lots of us suffering from wind💨

Out of stock but more in on 15th August so they say.

These guys are normally good for Isabella spares but I don't see them advertising poles. Worth a call perhaps ? https://www.penrosetouring.co.uk/isabella-spares.html

I wonder if they fail because they only measure 1900mm max extended which only gives 100mm overlap at the join? I've extended one of ours by adding a section of aluminium tube so that I can project the height at the centre if necessary (Middle pole). Perhaps in light of what you say Bazz, I may consider extending the other two as well to give a larger overlap

There are four from the same seller on Ebay today (I've just bought one)
search for: ISABELLA AWNING "SHADOW" 240, 300, 360, 400, 500 CANOPY POLE "CARBON-X" "ISAFIX"

Athena, now renamed Poppy, our 2005 Eriba 430GT, leading our Volvo V70 astray...

Roger, the new pole which I got for the centre has an extension piece in it, so there’s loads of overlap.
I’ll show you what I mean next week.
