Hi everyone, thanks for adding me to the forum. I currently own a Van Royce 450EK which I managed to rescue from death by damp. However, lifespan is limited, so I'm in search of my next wellbuilt van with strong credentials...an Eriba Touring 540. I note they are scarce on the secondhand market, but thought I'd do well to start here. I'll be keeping an eye on the for sale ads here in anticipation.

Hi Jacs and welcome to Eribafolk.

An Eriba Touring 540? Are you aware that the 540 tag was officially only introduced at the end of the 1990s? Previous to that Eriba Tourings were known by a letter system and not a number system.

Here is a list of Troll layouts and letters from around 1994 and are in accordance with German Eriba Brochures.

The one you are referring to, with long beds and a washroom/Toilet (now known as the 540) was called the Troll LMT.

Thank you Randa for enlightening me to the more precise terminology and history.
I am hoping to eventually find an Eriba Touring Troll 540 around 5 to 7 years old with long beds and a washroom.
