Anyone know what size fits a Triton? my home made canvas one has seen better days and I was impressed by the one johnnyb44 had and it looks like i might be able to put it up on my own

I could take a run in to the nearest towsure superstore is about 90 minutes away ( got the spolling rite that time)

If I knew what size to get.

Sorry, can't help with size, but we've got one on our Puck and I love it! One word of warning, ours was bought new last year, a friend has one which was the model before and the sizes do seem to be slightly different. I got the measurements before I bought it and it seemed OK, but it is a very tight fit between the high level indicator lights. Don't know if you have those on your van, but if you do remember to take that into account when you measure it.

Hi Nev
Do you have an awning bracket in the centre of the awning rail?
If so you can put a peg or spike into it to hold the bag up to allow the door to be opened when it is rolled up.

We have used Caravanstores for years. They stand up to most weather conditions well if you peg and guy down. We usually put a storm strap over as well. In high winds it is best to just roll it away.

Well I will have to do something now as the storm this morning finished off my homemade canvas one (well the canvas was 35 years old and it did last me a year for about 50 pence worth of cotton)

Just bought one for our Troll. We had a Omnistor 2000 on our 2006 Triton but as it was fixed so to speak could not use awning.

Decided on Fiamma as the legs/rafters fit inside the roll.

We bought the 3.1 metre length which have fitted on the opposite side of van to door for time being. The plastic locators that house the end rafters just miss the the windows each end of van.

The distance between the top of window and awning rail is not wide enough to site the locator pieces so you need to check first.

The one we had with our first Triton which we purchased from Mr & Mrs Frantone fitted fine but cannot remember the length.

The original also had only one position for the locator whereas the new versions have two each end and also a centre locator on the 3.1 metre canopy
