We don't tow any water, so we don't need to drain anything down at the end of the season.

The toilet flush tank is emptied into the poo tank, so there's nothing in either of those when we set off home. We open both drain valves (we've got hot water) and lift the taps to avoid airlocks, so the main system is empty too.

I'd assumed everyone travelled with an empty flush tank at least.

Don't they?

Doesn't seem to be much point eating into your payload capabilities with something that's easily replaced at your destination, or risk leaks from water sploshing around en route.

we drain our flush water at site, unless just moving sites, but I don't fill the tank right up anyway, as there is a second flush method if one runs out
(the shower tap)
if there are black contaminents in the flush tank, then I would probably add some thetford cleaner or miltons to swish about but have to be careful to not overdo nose weight.
we had a visit from jack frost last night, looks like another visit tonight brrrrr
