Anyone use them ?

We had a post office card back in 2009 and used Nationwide Debit card which allowed free transactions until a few years ago

There is one called ICE which is free to use and gives 1% cashback on purchases

As we spend a lot of time out of the UK, I use a Halifax clarity card which has no foreign exchange charges and if you preload it with cash, no fees for withdrawals.

As recommended by Money Saving Expert.
