Finally took delivery of my new Eriba Nova L 465

Well after ordering at start of February this year I finally took delivery from Jandi my new Eriba Nova L 465 on Saturday.
Extremely pleased with the new caravan and given that it's 1M shorter and 300Kilos lighter than my 2012 Hymer Sporting 485 is a real dream to tow.
Remarkably Kim's managed to get all our kit into the caravan and given the beds the same size as that in the 485 managed to get all the chairs and tables in the storage locker under the bed.

I've attached a few pictures on it on my driveway.
Unfortunately the travel front cover I ordered prior to delivery is just a fraction to small so awaiting a swap from the company purchased and that will put off using it this weekend.

Nice looking van David. You must be well pleased.
Just before retirement too if I remember correctly so you're going to get a lot of use from it.
have you decided on a tow car yet?

For the record, can you briefly explain to us what the difference is between the Eriba Nova Light and the previous generation of Eriba Novas such as the ones seen at this EOC Rally? g84p258-Eriba-Owner-s-Club-Rally.html

Randa,

Basically the difference is that they are a "light weight" van, well in Hymer's terms anyway that can be towed with a small to medium family car. More like a Feeling with a hard top.
My 465 has a MIRO of 960 and MTPLM of 1300.

I'm considering the new SsangYong Tivoli at present as an option the 1.6 diesel and of course 4x4 but then again just under 4 months until I have to give up on the company car. Has a braked tow limit of 1500.
Kim still has her Hyundai Tucson which has only 36K on the clock which is pretty low mileage for a 57 plate.

Is yours a 2016 model ? which upholstery did you choose ?

Do you have a "snagging " list or is all ok ?

2015 model, went for "Stanley" on upholstery. we also went for the extra Comfort back rests on front seating.
Snagging, only two very minor issues:
A. 1 screw and black plastic cover missing from hob
b. door retainer not closing as fouling on wheel arch, requires application of a 10mm spacer.
Both getting dealt with by the wonderful Sandy at Jandi.
Apart from the above two all is working as it should and tested last weekend with a trip to Cobeland, Aberfoyle.

Thanks for reply, ours will be arriving soon. it will be a 2016 model (and 2016 price !). Pity we are such a long way away from Jandi so we hope we have no snagging we cant sort out ourselves
