On at the moment on C5. 8pm-9pm. "Celebrity 5 Go Barging".

Start of a 4 episode series about boating on the River Lot and the Canal Du Midi. Nice scenery.

Thinking it was a series of repeats I didn't watch it last Sunday but discovered last night that the program I recorded was the start of a new series of Pru and Tim's canal adventures. Channel 4 Sundays 8pm. A visit to the boat by Fairport Convention in last Sunday's episode.

New footage and some retrospectives, it's still a nice gentle program to tune in to. I have a feeling that it might be the last series.

One of the lock keepers at Braunston said the other week that they were filming for an episode of celebs going boating as well as the Tim & Pru series. We had our boat out on the side there getting it's bottom blacked so will be interesting to see if it makes it onto the telly.

Pru and Tim give us a feel of those more happy days back in the last century on planet 50's and 60's and even 70's.
A real ray of TV happiness in these grey days.
Mind Tim's not the greatest steersman, we thought it may have been called 'Bumping Boats' in some episodes.
