Lidl - chopping boards

Just been in Lidl and saw packs of plastic chopping boards that would be ideal for slipping under the corner steadies if yours don't have fitted pads.

The 'Ernesto' brand boards come in large (366 x 275) and small (250 x 150). The large ones are £2.99 each and the small ones £2.99 for a pack of two.

Thank God for Lidls! We've bought purple stripey tablecloths for £1 each to make new sunshades - watch this space!

I'm feeling guilty now, and the awning strip has arrived, so I'll have to get on with them.

OK - so they are done - at least copies of the ones we've already got for the back window, front windows and non-door side window. Can't show pics of them on the van yet as she is still wrapped up in her overcoat, but will take photos of them on the windows before our next trip in a few weeks. Total cost £2 for two reduced tablecloths from Lidls plus awning strip from Waudby's at £1.50 a metre. They aren't so heavy as the originals, but I have strengthened the bottom corners, so we shall see if they work. If not, it kept me quiet for a few hours!

They look really good, I showed the Lioness, she agrees!
Is the beading going to remain as is?

The beading is the same as on the original ones; the fabric is sandwiched inside it. Shame they don't do purple beading!
