Hello everyone,
I’ve just bought a Thetford freshen up kit for our Triton, and this was in the box (hopefully photo attached!)
Does anyone know what is is for? It’s not mentioned anywhere in the destructions.
Thanks image.jpg - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)

Apparently this fits on top of the toilet filler tube to give extra pressure to the water to push it down. Otherwise it just sits in the tube.
Only learn't this last week as it was explained by Frantone on here.

It’s your bottomless cup!

Alternatively a Thetford funnel to raise the water level at filling point above the level at the other end thus allowing a proper flow.
I have mine hanging on the inside of the hatch door.

Well I nearly had it right. You just explained it in a more professional manner , but it shows that I was listening.

I've always thought it's a funnel

Yes it is a funnel but I believe its main function is top up the flush tank not the main cassette. Just that few extra millimetre height allows a lot more water in to the flush tank.

Thanks for all replies.
I think I’ll just bin it and carry on as I did before...

I used to have one and used it to top up the flush tank .Somewhere along the line it must have disappeared and it was obviously so superfluous that I had forgotten until now that it ever existed . Totally unnecessary in my judgment .

It really does make it easier to top up the flush tank more quickly :)
