Roof Repair

Peter Firth, one of our Eribafolk facebook members had an unfortunate accident a few weeks ago and smacked his pop top.

I though it worth mentioning that he's had the repair done and is very happy with the result (no pics unfortunately).

I don't know if any of you remember me posting this problem a couple of weeks ago. It is all fixed now...hurrah. I took it to a company called Cogins Motorsport at the Trojan centre on The Finedon Road Trading estate in Wellingborough. They are specialists in Fibreglass and did a super job in a couple of days for only £130. Saved me a lot of time and angst

Good news.

We had impact damage on our Troll roof where we think a very large bird had dropped something very heavy and sharp. We had it repaired by ALV at Tebay as part of our first service and they did a very good job repairing it. You now cannot see where the damage was.

However I am now wary of very large birds dropping things on the roof especially when we camp at the sea side. MikeT
