An interesting conversation on Eriba Facebook at the moment regarding an internal fridge light on a 2008 van which I though would be useful information for this forum.

The question is being answered by a Gas Safe fitter who seems to have good knowledge of gas fired caravan equipement.

"Andy Wiles:- What model of fridge is it? There’s a white sticker inside the fridge behind the salad box the model number starts RM followed by 4 numbers i.e RM 8501

Andy Wiles:- There’s no light in that fridge, I also don’t thinks it’s the original if you have a 2008 van you should have a series 7/8 fridge I don’t think any of the manufacturers were still using series 4 fridges

Ray Lawrence:- 2007 Triton 430GT here. I have a Dometic 4230 fridge. Most certainly doesn't have an internal light. The 12Vdc is only live to the fridge when the tow car is connected with engine running."

So, when did the fridge with light, presumably 7 and 8 series, start being fitted into an Eriba? Does yours have one and what year is it?

Ours is badged as an Electrolux RM 4230. No interior light but does have green and red running lights. 1999 Troll.

Don't suppose by using your light you can see the RM number?
