Skoda Yeti – 2.0L diesel SE – 110bhp – 5 speed manual

Extras over standard specification include:-
- Aluminium roof bars
- Full size factory supplied spare wheel, NOT a spacesaver - please note even though rolling diameter and load rating are size as 17” as alloys fitted it is a 16” wheel and so speed restricted by law as it would not be the same
- Electrically heated front screen
- Sports seats with lumber adjust
- Carpet mats
- Front and rear mudflaps
- Rear bumper guard
- Genuine Skoda fit detachable towbar with full 13 pin electrics allowing fridge operation and battery charging.
- Standard specification includes climate control, removeable rear seats, 12v socket in rear and boot etc

It is going to a small private garage for their own use. I could have got a bit more from Webuyanycar, but they are more than happy to wait the couple of weeks, pay in cash and I try to deal with local companies if possible.

I was talking to someone yesterday who dealt with ‘we buy any car’ when selling their mini. Over £4k was the offer, but when they came to inspect the car, they knocked down every stone chip, every small scratch, every bit of wear and tear, and offered just over £2k. Seems to be common practice I am led to understand.

I had heard similar stories so wanted to keep my options open and considered various offers. At the end of the day I've got over top trade-in but less than a good private sale. All things are relative as it's a buyers market with excellent discounts to be had on new cars, so overall I've come out O.K.
