can anyone give advise on fitting a battery voltage meter please

I simply attached a couple of wires direct to the battery terminals, David, but I think you could splice into any convenient 12v supply in the caravan such as a socket or light fitting but I'm no electrician.

I'm sure that someone better qualified will be along soon to advise.
