Along with our remoska our superkettle as it's called is just superb for us as we do not have a water heater in our familia. For anyone that's not familiar with them they are a smallish water heater that once reaches boiling point it then remains hot until you press the reboil button for brew time. It doesn't drip and we couldn't be without it on our travels.i think it has to be ordered online from the company of the same name. Ellen

I bought a Super Kettle, 3.2ltr. it actually maintains water at the right temperature
for coffee and tea!

Another thumbs up for the Superkettle, we have the 'bit more expensive one",...and never use the "reboil",...stays hot enough for tea.

Which is the best one to go for, the white plastic or the stainless steel?

We have the stainless steel, only problem that I find is is shows every finger print but that's just me being fussy. I amaze myself how I like everything just perfect in Doo-Dah its like my little haven of peace and probably the only space I can keep as I like. Probably down to not having any space of my own as a child, or that's what a shrink could possibly tell me!!

Definitely the Stainless one with its "Cup Switch" for solo hot drinks.

Well I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything I've read about this kettle turn out to be true as I've just gone and ordered one. Yet another gadget to add to the collection.

yes its true, they are brilliant, we use ours all year round. no more waiting 3.5 minutes for the kettle to boil each morning

we also use a water filter to refill to reduce lime scale
the first fill from cold up takes about 15-20mins but quick after that
ours is used everday with a tea tool

I suspect I'm going to regret this but what is a tea tool pray?

I'm sure glad you asked SDA - me, I'm a coward. Cleaned my glasses twice then my eyeballs three times but it still read tea tools. Then I remembered that Monty Python were reuniting and thought to myself, don't fall for it son let someone else look the fool. For goodness sake, everyone knows what a tea tool is don't they?
