Changing curtains and upholstery

Hello, we have yet to buy our first Eriba and are looking for a suitable Triton 420. We don't like a lot of the curtains and upholstery fabrics on the newer vans. Are the curtains easy to remove and replace (assuming we make up our own)? Also, are the covers removable? - I assume not. Any suggestions on how to replace the covers also would be helpful. Thanks!

The curtains are only decorative small strips of material on the newer vans and they are easy to remove and replace. We leave ours in place to break up the expanse of wall board and "frame" the window.
The nets are a love it or hate it thing and have been the first thing to go into storage on our vans.
The upholstery coverings can be unzipped, and I guess by turning them inside out you could work out some templates for replacements.

Yes, it is easy. We did not like the homage to beige interior so we changed it. It can be easily reverted if needs be. The covers are zipped and the curtains come off the track easily.

Hi and welcome to Eribafolk

We removed the curtains and nets altogether as the fly screens give enough privacy during daylight hours if you need it and the black out blinds do the job at night.

We've also covered our exisiting covers with different material which can be removed for washing or to bring the van back to factory spec.

Very easy to change and making new curtains is fun as they're so tiny! For the seats, i made "cylinders" to slip over the existing covers.DSC_0876.JPG - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)

Thank you all for the useful replies and photos - all very helpful. Wife is fairly confident about doing curtains but the seat covers is probably beyond us. Many thanks.

We too replaced our seat covers. made new zipped covers for the cushions and covered over the seat bases leaving the original in place.
