hi Slow Hands & welcome.

When we first moved from tenting to caravaning (due to dodgy hips) we nearly ended up in the same situation as novices. We were looking at a WWB,, as at the time Kath didn't really like Eribas (oh the shame).

We'd seen a used one that we liked and were in the salesman's office discussing buying when he asked what we intended towing with. We told him what and he fed it into the computer and immediately shocked us by telling our estate car wasn't powerful and heavy enough to tow it...................

It turned out to be a lucky escape as not long after Kath's love affair with Eribas began and we also got a Troll.

The experience has made me doubly sure to make sure that our tow car is always well up to the job - if anything we belt and brace it. A less scrupulous salesman could have used our innocence to sell us a dud......................We have towed our Troll with 2 different Skoda Scout 4x4 150 BHP diesels and don't notice that we are towing anything.

Good luck in your search
