Hello all.

We have a 2001 eriba troll 530, it has a PMS3H power system, with a lesiure battery fitted. As far as i ca tell the battery ONLY charges when the van is plugged in, not from the car when driving. I would like to add a solar panel to provide charge when we are not hooked up.

Is there any reason i can't attach the cables from this folding solar

direct to the Battery terminals, whilst the van is not plugged in to on site Hook up???

Many thanks for any advice

John

I've had one of those panels for over 5 years, connected directly to the battery via an Anderson connector underneath the van for convenience.

Works a treat!
