Wanted! Recommendations for small, friendly, rural campsites without too many chalets, cabins and noisy activities, for us 2 and 2 dogs in June/July- in the Lot and Dordogne area and not far from Gourdon. We've looked at so many that are huge and so busy - great for families with kids and sporty types but probably not for us. Thanks.

We had been visiting the Dordogne since 2002 before coming across one of the best kept site we have visited in 2019. How we missed out on it is beyond me.
http://www.leportdelimeuil.com/en/ It has the bonus of being on the ACSI scheme so you are looking at Euro 16 up to 8th July. If you get one of the piches 36 to 40 you will probably pick up the free internet from your pitch.
