Not usually this far south at this time of year [Crevillente Spain] and when we have been it was never this hot 41.7c 108 f, thats outside and in the shade.

Both, but its too hot to sit on the beach, at least there's some shade around around the pool, probably go for a drive up into the mountains.

The last two times we have spent a week with a friend near Nogaro in South West France (2019 and 2020) it was 40C pretty much every day. Summer temperatures are definitely rising!

32C here, yesterday, in sunny Suffolk...

We love the municipal Camping at Amboise on the Loire. the campsite is most of an island in the middle of the river and it's also well shaded. Have been there many times over the years when it's very hot. Definitely cooler than elsewhere! There's also a municipal pool on the island (or there was in 2019).

Beware what you wish for. now in the Pyrenees, gone from 40+c to thunderstorms, very heavy rain, 23.9c, very nice site though,
