recommendations please for UK travel insurance for over 70's

Nationwide have worldwide travel insurance as part of their packaged current account. No upper age limit, only extra charged, at very reasonable rates, for medical conditions. They’re surprisingly accepting of a lot of conditions and don’t charge for all of them.

That is a really good suggestion, Julie. I was just about to embark on finding insurance as my renewal had come through with a huge increase in premium for this year. At £18 per month (ie £216pa) that is far cheaper than I was paying anyway.

As ever, good response from knowledgeable folk, we changed our accounts to Nationwide last year so will try them Monday whilst sunning in Sidmouth

Just remember that if you have savings and a current account they have just paid £100 per person as an almost annual bonus, so that offsets the fees.👍
