TO OUR NEW MEMBERS
:-

Hi, and thanks for joining us as an Eribafolk Member.

If you are unsure of how to negotiate this forum then please ask on the "Welcome to New Members Page". There are many shortcuts to learn about and our existing members will be more than happy to help you on your way.

There are a few essential thinks you need to know before you start.

1) Your user name is obviously visible to all other members so don't chose one that includes your Email address, telephone number etc. Once you are registered you can change your user name if you wish to. Ask for more details.

2) Your password is completely private and is known only to you. Administrators and fellow members alike have no record of your password so please keep it safe so that you can use it again to re-visit the forum at any time.

3) This forum is hosted by a professional hosting company in Germany and we have to pay an annual fee based on the number of members we have therefore we cannot afford to carry dormant members.

Therefore please note the "1 month rule and the 6 month rule". If after joining, you show no activity within the first month, we will assume that you no longer wish to proceed so your membership will be cancelled.

If you often or occasionally visit but do not visit for a period of 6 months, we will consider that you no longer wish to retain your membership so it will be cancelled.

To ensure that you keep your membership alive all you need to do is to look in on us every few months. You'll not need to say anything as by logging in, the system will recognise your visit and will record it.

In both the above cases, you are quite welcome to re-join as a new member again but your new membership will not link up to any of your old threads or posts.

4) Some members experience difficulties when logging in due to the Security checks that are automatically activated. The simple way to overcome these is to NOT log off at the end of each visit. The system will recognise your inactivity after about 30 minutes and will do it for you so that the next time you visit the system will automatically clear you of security checks.

5) It is very important that members do not discuss religion, politics, race, colour and gender identities. This is a friendly forum so show respect and kindness to others. The Administration Team reserves the right to intervene should we think it necessary.

6) This is a free, non-profit making forum where nobody has a paid position. Please respect that and, if you so wish, we are always happy to accept a very small donation from time to time via our PayPal account, to help towards our annual Hosting Fee.

TO OUR GUESTS:-

Please feel free to have a good look around to see what we have to offer.

With open access to so much material, you may ask yourself, “Why do I need to register and become a forum member?” Well, here to tempt you are some of the additional benefits of full membership:

* Although guests can read the forum posts and discussions, only registered members can start their own threads and participate in the live forum discussions.

* By remaining anonymous, guests cannot interact with and get to know the wide range of interesting and knowledgeable characters who regularly post on the forum and who are waiting to answer your queries about anything Eriba-related.

* Only members can access the extensive and continuously growing gallery that includes sections with photographs of all the common (and not-so-common) Eriba models and derivatives; the wide range of awnings available to fit Eribas and some stunning pictures taken at and around memorable campsites in the UK and Europe.

This is a free, non-profit making forum where nobody has a paid position but we are always happy to accept a very small donation from our full time members from time to time via our PayPal account, to help towards our annual Hosting Fee.

1. Think of a user name and a unique password. Please not that the password you choose will not be know to anyone apart from yourself so look after it.
2. Click on the “register” button below the banner on the front page.
3. You will be asked to enter your user name, password and your contact email address.
4. Copy the four letter “Captcha” code into the appropriate box and click ‘submit’.
5. Your request for membership will be flagged up to the forum administrators who will register you immediately they come on line.
6. An acceptance email will automatically be sent to your email address (IMPORTANT: if you don’t receive your confirmation email, please check your junk mail folder as it may have been filed there by your spam filter software)
7. You are now our newest member so please log in and post a short message to introduce yourself.

Looking forward to your company,

The Eribafolk Administration Team
