So who's off to La Belle France next year?
Don't mention planning or the authoritahs will be after you....
but it would be nice to compare ideas and maybe chat about informal meets.

All being well (just waiting for final confirmation on the OH's 2014 holiday dates) we'll be spending 24 days, starting around 24th May, at Camping les Jonquilles http://www.camping-jonquilles.com/campin...LES_acc_gb.html which is on the Lac de Longemer.
The campsite is located in a beautiful area with lots to see and do. This will be our first visit to this actual campsite although we have camped in the region for many a year now. Comar (a beautiful town) is located approximately 30km to the East and Gerardmer approximately 6km to the West.

Deeps....a nickname for any submariner whose name is not known.

That's a nice part of the country Alan. We were in Colmar in April last year and really enjoyed visiting the surrounding area.
This year, we were a little south of where you are going and visited Corbusier's Chapel in Ronchamp which is about 40 miles south. Really worth a visit. Have you been there?

We would like to get down to where we planned last year and didn't. Near the Riviera hot spots but only to delve into them rather than be ripped off, but mainly to see what it is that the slebs like to go for. No planning yet! but it's all in the mind.

We stayed here last year

It is about 8 miles from Cannes, but very quiet, in the hills for great walking, and a friendly campsite restaurant. You can drive into where it is all happening and escape easily for a rest! Also easy access to the motorway and a nice pool.
