Well it was all so easy, download the tous covd app, put the nhs 3d bar code onto it, [3 mins] show them to the nice French customs man [ he didn't really want to see the honour statement] and drive out [another 3 mins].
I'm now down in Le Moulin Du Bel air, having a glass [or two]of Vin Blanc with a couple of old friends,

We are now in Spain, spent a pleasant day in the Pyrenees amid torrential rain and spectacular thunder storms. Driven a little south today and are near Leida, as we we have come south the temp has gone up and the prices have come down [diesel €1.30 L and 6 good glasses of wine cost €7.20] happy days

Down in Crevillente [Spain] now.
We notice that now a lot of the motorways are free, the small roads have a lot less traffic on them, good for scenic driving .
Another thing I noticed was there are a lot less of the young ladies at the side of the road to wave at you, I think they are employed by the different regions to welcome you as they always seem so friendly. Weather still good at the moment.
