Spare wheel takes up a lot of room in Puck + car so would like to store it underneath the caravan. Anyone else done this? Is it possible on a Puck?

Was it there when you bought the Puck or did you get it fitted, and if so where?

It was there when I bought the Puck. I thought it was standard and not retrofitted.

I remember seeing a post that Dom Fox in Norfolk supplied carriers for all models except the Puck!

Where are you based? I take my Puck to Kool Classics in Hailsham for all servicing and repairs. I have found them to be very knowledgeable and helpful, particularly for older Eribas. They may be able to assist.

My 1994 Puck had a spare wheel in a cage outside under the rear floor, have a word with Dom Fox to see if this one will fit ok on a Puck.

The one from Dom Fox states that it is for all models except the Puck!

The spare wheel and carrier is a factory fit cost option and as some Pucks have it I assume it was available on them all. I can see no reason why the carrier can't be retro-fitted, but Puck production ended in 2009 and that may be why Dom doesn't feature a carrier for a Puck, they're just not available any more. I suspect it's probably the case that Pucks, being narrower than other Eriba Touring range vans, had a narrower chassis and that meant a different design carrier to the rest. I know some people remove the spare and carrier to improve ground clearance so they presumably are an easy remove/fit if you can find one. Asking on here/the Facebook page may be successful and looking out for dead Pucks/breakers is an option too.
