Ex-Motorhome owners, eagerly awaiting collection of our new (but old) Eriba and researching the minefield that is awnings. I have read posts in the forum debating air awnings versus traditional (pole) shape, and seems to be personal preference with pros and cons of weight, space, time to put up/take down, length of holiday and weather. And of course price.

Height - As we can’t yet measure the height of the awning rail on our 1999 Triton - can anyone tell me the height of the awning rail or maybe it’s referred to as a size? It’s difficult looking for an awning without knowing the size we are looking for, some advert wording state only that it fits an Eriba or specifies Troll, Triton or Puck (surely the age comes into it too).

Width - we are also assuming the width isn’t so big an issue eg if an awning is designed for a Puck it will just fall slightly shorter width ways on our van? Wider would be an issue of course.

We have seen an Isabella Coal Capri awning for sale (which we been informed is for a Puck) - would this fit our Triton height wise?

Awning For Sale - Finally, does anyone have a traditional type awning (preferably with carbon poles) to fit an Eriba Triton 420 (1999) within a 100 miles of Yeovil (Dorset, Somerset, Devon), if so PLEASE 🙏 get in touch.
