Just wondered what most people put if anything on their awning floor for something very simple/short trips

We bought a cheap, plain, breathable carpet off Ebay and cut it to fit our PopAir Pro. We then put roll-out beach mats down to further cushion the gravel underneath (the carpet's not very thick). Works well for us and has the bonus of bright and cheerful patterns on the mats.

The best breathable flooring we have come across for lightweight/comfortable/easy to clean is the Kampa Continental. If the awning is up we use this.
If the canopy is up we use a mat, about 1500 x 900 made of similar material bought from a DIY shed such as B&Q for about £12.

Here, most pitches are grassy so a breathable carpet is better. Decathlon do a nice, big grey one that's nicer to walk on than it looks. We have a very cheap outdoor carpet we put on top.
