Water pump

The water pump on our Triton 420 GT is making an intermittent howling noise when either hot or cold taps are turned on. The van has both hot and cold tanks. I’ve drained the system and refilled everything to no avail. Has anyone else has this problem?

The pump could be at fault. I always carry a spare as they are easy to swap over in minutes. Just make sure you get one with the same or slightly higher Litres per minute performance.

Is it just noise but still pumping?
As Colin suggests that would point to a failing pump. It spins quite fast so could produce a high pitched sound.

Still pumping but I’ll change it before France just in case!
Wouldn’t want the Major not to be able to do the dishes!
