Puck handbrake gas strut

Hi All. The handbrake strut failed completely. It would do! However there is a Company in Derby called SGS (on the net) who are very helpful, in under 24 hours they made and delivered a new one, which fits perfectly, it was not a stock size. So refreshing to deal with a Co that know what they are talking about . David

Hi, Great. Just a point on the gas strut the original fixing are two rivet type studs. I drilled these out and used two stainless nuts and bolts, work fine.
Yes I sorted the electrics, you were right a poor earth, but a real rave to find, but easy to fix thanks.
