Having come over to Eriba ownership from VW campers, these type of scams were everywhere on the VW scene.
Usually there was some reason that viewing the van was not possible but your money would be returned if you weren't totally happy with the vehicle that would be delivered at the sellers expense.
Unfortunately, there were many stories of people losing their money despite the price being unrealistically cheap and obviously suspect.
The old saying....if it seems too good to be true

Another VW owner here so well used to scams. Always check mot and tax with DVLA and always see the item before going any further. Never pay by banker's draft or Western Union etc and always be suspicious. If in any doubt, walk away and as DBVWT says . . .!

Have reported both to ebay so see what happens
