Odd external fitting

I have this odd external fitting on the rear left flank of my Troll. It’s not a vent. Does anyone have any idea what it is for?

Most such external fittings seem to be to do with TV aerials in one respect or another, in my experience. Trouble is, without the relevant bits it's difficult to get an idea of how it worked unless you come across someone who's used that particular equipment who recognises it.

Middlesex 29 years

It looks like the bottom part of the 2 part aerial fixing. The top part grips the awning rail/gutter.
I think it’s an older Maxview or Vision Plus item.

Troll 540GT (2013) gently nudging up against Galaxy.
