If this causes problems and you want to take it down - that's fine by me.

Is anybody willing to explain why there are two UK Eriba caravan forums? I joined this forum when I first knew about it but must admit to not contributing a great deal. I joined the other one years ago and made the occasional comment. But. of late, it has become virtually moribund. I recognise some of the contributors on here so assume there was an historic disagreement. Is there a case for re-amalgamating these two forums?

Hope this is acceptable.

In all walks of life there are those who walk the same course but on different paths.

I am a chairman of my local camera club, there is another club close by. When suggestions are made to join forces for activities an unknown past feud is given as a reason not to. No one knows what it is!

Likewise the Morris Minor forum I help run is not connected in any way with the 'official' club. Our FaceBook page is swamped by club members using it like the club page. This is because the club doesn't allow the freedom of speech that we do, by that I mean only officials can post!

As for this forum I have not seen the need to look elsewhere.

We have no problem with you asking the question on here but as others have said, try that on the other forum and it'll probably be taken down.

There was a disagreement between some members and the admin. of the other place several years ago which caused the rift so those members were "invited" to leave and start their own forum. Unfounded accusations were then aimed at this forum when it was started up and ever since, the other forum has not allowed any comment about Eribafolk to be posted on there. Try it and see. Also there are several Eriba owners who are banned on there.

It's not unusual for there to be more than one forum operating from the same country,e.g. France, Germany and Spain.

There is no point in re-amalgamating as most active members belong to both anyway and Eribafolk has been doing very well for the past five years.

this has always been a very friendly forum, with very helpful people I for one would not see the need to be anywhere else

I am a member of both and contribute to both.
I recognise other members on there also. Find it a bit slow and not very active.

Eribafolk is my first lookup every day :)
