I'm thinking of buying some awning rail to possibly use our Isabella Shadow Sun Canopy in the garden.

We have a double glazed wooden veranda that runs the width of the back of the house. In hot weather in acts like an open sided conservatory and can get very hot. As such I am playing with the idea of putting a shade on an area at the front to create some cool shade.

We were talking about it having a coffee about 10 minutes ago and Kath said that just sounds what we do with the Eriba and the Isabella. Light bulb moment if I could attach an awning rail to the thick wooden frame I could simply run the Shadow through it and the poles are adjustable - a possible quick and quite cheep solution.

Has anybody bought any that they would recommend?

I bought mine from ebay as 3x1m lengths. It was relatively easy to line them up properly and also very much cheaper.

I went for c section.

bought off Amazon,fitted a batten to the wall and then drilled and screwed the rail, old sun awning now
