Draining the top tank.jpg - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)

This photo shows the top tank drainage.

It shows the twisting of the filler spout to empty it and then to the right the detachment of the liquid level indicator to turn it into the drainage pipe.

All very clever and i was unaware of it for 4 years - a technical genius

The manual says not travel with water in the flush or tank.

Agreed and hence my approach until this year. 2L in the waste tank is not going to cause a spillage risk or inbalance in vehicle weight as it slops around. Ditto some left in the flush system, although I have heard of one leakage issue on another forum since my Eriba ownership began in 2003.
