A few days ago we found this Eriba cookie shape maker for sale from Germany, on Ebay. We bought one as a bit of fun.

Yesterday it came in the post so I pusuaded Mrs R to have a bash at making some shortbread. There was a lot of huffing and puffing coming from the kitchen so I kept my head down.

She was not impressed as she couldn't get them out of the mould. They really tasted nice though so batch two will be trialled today.

Meanwhile, today on Eribafolk Facebook, Darren Paul Millar offered a link to another version of an Eriba cutter that he has developed for anyone with a 3D printer.
