Hi all, we’re about to take delivery of an Eriba Triton 430 from adventure Leisure Vehicles – first time owners! Can anyone advise what size flexible pipe and fitting are needed to connect the waste outlet to an external container? Thanks in advance, Jake.

Welcome Jake. I've never bothered with connecting a waste container. A standard black bucket has been our choice since start of Eriba ownership back in 2003. It's cheap and works a treat. I hope the delivery goes well.

Thanks Colin. We have been given a Wastemaster waste water carrier, which has a rather small opening, and was wondering the best way to connect a pipe to it.

Hi Jake and welcome to Eribafolk

Like Colin, we don't use an extension pipe anymore but I came across it again only the other day.

Do you know if you'll only have the one waste outlet as you have two sinks, washroom and kitchen? They were connected together on our older van and both came out just in front of the non-door side just under the van and in front of the wheel.

In our case we used a length of black corrugated 32mm dia pond hose (to fit over the pipe fitted to the van) which was only about 500 mm long. Perhaps for the Westminster get a piece about 700mm long and cut to length?

Hi Jake, we use a short length of bicycle innertube which fits perfectly over the outlet and can be left in place when travelling.

I made up this from a bit of 36mm waste pipe and 36mm connector with a bit of foam around the inside to hold it firmly to the drain outlet.
it stores nicely in the handle of our waste jerrycan so it doesn't get lost.

I did something similar: a bit of 40mm waste pipe with a £1.30 rubber soil pipe boss that slides up or down to give the correct height between the van outlet and the neck of the waste tank.

This method still enables the dimpled recess in the waste tank to fill with overflow when its full to let me know when it needs emptying

Thank you all for the suggestions. Sounds like something flexible/rubbery with an internal diameter of ~32mm should fit around the Eriba outlet.

I bought a short flexible waste extension for Colplaz and trimmed off the larger diameter section.

It fits neatly into this waste tank, although I didn't buy mine from Go Outdoors.

Hope this helps.
