Hi all.

So...about to buy an Eriba Puck L 230 badge weight 690kg.

I've just looked at a mini 2016 Cooper S clubman All4. Tow plate attached.

Does anyone think this will be an issue? How does braking work with Eribas?

Thanks,

DG

DG.
Your planned Eriba has a braking system. You have done well to find a late Puck L. if you look here you will see you have no problem. It should be a very good tow. https://towcar.info/outfitmatch.php

Eriba Touring braking arrangements are the same as virtually every other caravan and are a function of the chassis on which they're built. When the towing vehicle slows down the drawbar on the hitch compresses and that action puts on the caravan brakes. The harder the towcar brakes the more the caravan brakes. When the car pulls away the drawbar extends on the caravans brakes come off.
