Hi Stupid question time?

11.5 hour trip / 600 miles = realistic average mileage recommended before stopping for the night Devon to Oban

2 day or 3 day?

Don't fancy camping in Walsall or West Bromwich ( nothing personal) so next realistic decent overnight stop recommendations up the M6 please, also recommendations for Sterling, Callander area

There's a CMC CL # 817 (2021/22 Sites Directory Handbook) that we've used a number of times just off M6 Junction 28, south of Preston on the A49. Nothing special - the book shows £9.50/night. 10amp Hook up available & hardstanding. Its called Greenbank Farm PR25 5SB

I would probably look to stop at Tewkesbury ccm site and Moffat Ccc site. At least you are assured of the facilities on both sites and both not having to deviate off your route very much

We’ve used Moffat for one night, nice site in a lovely little town. Ideal stopover.
