Thanks, but after some serious clearing of the garage and some delicate manouvering, we've squeezed it in. Needed to go down to about 6PSI in the tyres and adjust the angle with the jockey wheel, but once inside I can re-inflate the tyres. All good - sorry about the false alarm, but it is useful to know there are other options.

Good news then. Just a late thought, as you do not need much of a height gain how about cutting a couple of narrow trenches or troughs to run the wheels through to increase your clearance. Once the van is in drop a plank of wood into the trench.
