Eriba Pan door adjustment

Just a quick query - does anyone know how to adjust a door on an Eriba Panfam (91 or so) that has dropped? Ours is slightly lower on the non-hinge side, and is preventing me from doing a repair. Each hinge has 3 bolts, but I'm not sure if these allow adjusting.

I know on newer models no adjustment is possible on the outside, but open the door and have a look on the inside and you may find a couple of plastic plugs. When you remove these you can see the hinge mount is adjustable.

Hi Colin. Unfortunately no plastic plugs on the inside. Loathe to touch the hinge nuts themselves -

How is the hinge attached to the door. I though you would be able access the fittings somehow as in the factory they would need to adjust it for fit without having to take the internal door skin off.

Hinges look like they are connected internally behind the plastic cup holder cover/molding

Wondering if the door for this van can be lifted off? Thinking a new fibre washer placed on one of the hinge pins might create enough of an adjustment to get rid of the drop.

It should lift off. I've put a fibre washer on each of my hinges to raise it a couple of mm. From your original post though it sounded as if the door was tilting.

Hi Colin. The door is tilting, so my thinking is that one washer on one pin might be enough to take the tilt out
