Spare wheel carrier

Does anyone have the botom part of the under Spare Wheel Carrier they wish to sell? After traveling 3 miles with my "bottom part" dragging on the floor before a motorist told me about it, there is not that much left of it

Hi Mick.

I don't know if it'll help but I sketched up and dimensioned a drawing showing the spare wheel carrier on our 1999 Troll. I don't know if it's dimensionally the same as on newer vans but they are quite simple to make if you know a decent welder.

As always, my intention was to go back to my sketch and make it a proper working drawing but as usual, I couldn't be bovvered

There is someone on Ebay selling parts from an Eriba which suggests to me they are breaking one. It might be worth getting in touch to see if they have a spare wheel carrier, perhaps?

Don't do book of faces, but should also add I've taken the whole thing off and decided to carry the spare wheel in the under bed locker

HI Mick. Yes, Colin's link to the Facebook Market Place is for the one being sold by Christine and John Nessworthy (Nessy). She would be prepared to post it at an added cost but she suspects that it might cost a bit as it's quite bulky and heavy.
Do you wish to continue the negotiation with her?

It's off a 2007 Eriba.
