I'm seeing a few posts on the Facebook site from people selling vans, usually quite well priced, but who have just joined the site. Being aware that Facebook can be a jungle, should I be suspicious?
Do Eribas attract scammers, or maybe I'm being too worried?
I would never buy anything like this unseen of course, but there are many ways to defraud...........

On a Facebook group I would check a seller's profile. Look for posts that cause doubt. A particular red flag is a recent change of profile photo and lack of any other posts on their timeline, ie they have stolen someone's account and changed it.

You can see when they joined a group and check their previous posts in the group. This can show up lots of useful information to give maximum confidence.

I’m with Steve on this one, perform diligence checks on the seller and be a little cautious. Facebook can be a bit like the Wild West on occasions..
