So, finally we are on our first trip! Thanks to everyone for all your advice in buying and equipping our van. An Eriba Troll 535.
We are on our second day at Shaws Ghyll site near Hawes. Very nice quiet site and we are pitched next to a stream which is lovely.
No problems so far except for a bit of a tussle filling the water tank of the toilet. I couldn’t understand why the filling nozzle wasn’t clearing as I poured water in. Eventually I realised the vital role played by the extension funnel, and we were underway!
But we are now Eriba people!

so many people miss that detail for filling the flush tank.

I did exactly the same. Luckily someone else nearby knew what to do!
