Steve and Debbie asked the owner about the poptop canvas. It's the original one 
and he didn't change it because he couldn't get a replacement with the vent lights.
It looks good even under close inspection and having seen the photos of the state of the Puck originally, that's a miracle.

In response to an ongoing thread on Facebook, the owner of this Puck, Martin Salt has put a Facebook link to the project in 2023. I must have missed it at the time so I copy you folk who do facebook (unfortunately far too many photos to copy and paste although I might get around to it when I'm less busy).
In my opinion this is a remarkable transformation
