Does anyone know the skirt rail awning beading size on a 2024 542? I bought a skirt off amazon that is supposed to fit "standard" caravans, and the bead just pulls out of the rail really easily. I don't have a set of calipers to measure it, as I am away, but I wondered if any other Eribafolk have experienced this issue?

Don't know if it's the same on new Eribas, but on our 99 Troll and also on the 95 Puck, the awning skirt rail size is the same as the awning top rail. that is 8mm but will fit anything from 6mm to 8mm.
The reason I know this is because I use pieces of a cut up sun shade to slide into the awning skirt rail to protect the corner steadies during the winter storage.
