Having found some dampness around the under-bed external door seal area I notice that the centre section of the door (where there is a channel marked with an arrow and red square in the photo) does not have a seal.

I have purchased a seal ready to fit to the interior side but did not think that the seal could be missing on the door side.

Im having second thoughts as the door does not have the all round protection of the rubber seal on both sides.

Is my observation incorrect or is this a weakness in the design or am I missing IMG_6264.jpeg - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)a seal?

Your insights and thoughts as always are hugely appreciated - especially if you have had this problem yourself

We have a Troll with the same locker door and a lack of a seal between the hinges.

I have always assumed this was a deliberate design decision, so that any water accumulation in the locker or around the door frame could drain out.

It's good to know that this is the design as intended rather than that I am missing a section of seal. I will replace the inner seal and see how we get on
