Many of you who know us, know that we are always looking to improve the shelter from the sun or rain from our awnings/sun shades.
Last weekend while away with the Puck, we had one or two heavy rain showers as we were sitting out under the peak extension canopy of our Pro Air Awning. A simple fix. Two sides from side edges of peak to the ground would do the job nicely.
Even better, make a long piece that throws over the top of the exisitng peak and then down to the ground would make it easier to put up/take down.

Hold on, we have a stock of grey ripstop nylon and also a wealth of large flags which we have used in previous years to create temporary shades which are easy to remove so why not use ripstop and flags to brighten the whole thing up, especially at rallies.
Thinking it out was the easy part, now Mrs R has to come into her own but in today's climate there's a lot more to think about. Which flags would offend and which were safe?
We always try not to offend by flying a huge Welsh Dragon so the Celtic Nations Flag would be OK (we presume). So, as England and Northern Ireland are not included, what about the George Cross and similar Ulster Banner? No, for many Brits associate them with right wing Hooliganism and Unionists.
I know, we have a large GB Union Flag and an equally sized European Union Flag. We'll go for those but now both these flags are tarnished by British anti immigration groups (when they remember which way around the flag should be flown) and Brexiteers.
Sod it. That's what it's to be until we get thrown out of an English Campsite for being a European Celtic rightwing racist unionist bum.

It is so difficult to be politically correct, trying to pre-think what somebody might read into your innocent actions or words. I got in trouble only yesterday for having a big happy smile and complementing my sons partner on how well she looked in her pregnancy. She took it as me laughing at her. Note to self, keep big gob shut.
