Puck awning light rubber gasket replacement

Hi there everyone.
Ive stripped out the awning light on my Puck today as I could spot a little green mark inside the bottom of the lens.
Its seems the rubber gasket on the awning light is perised and has allowed a little water in.
Does anyone have any ideas where I could get a replacement gasket?

Thanks from Bob.

Can't help with sourcing the gasket but the awning light is :- g2p1434-Puck.html#viewport

which, if I'm not mistaken, looks the same as ours:-

Ha ha beaten to it but it is obviously popular on many (but not all) models of that age (circa 1999).

We've never had cause to take our lense off Bob but looking at a close up of the gasket in your photo it looks nothing more than a bit of door draught excluder.

Another suggestion is to cut one out from a piece of closed cell foam of a suitable thickness.

Is that the gasket you want to replace?

It looks like a non-specific job, i.e. not preformed or moulded to any particular shape. I reckon you could replace it with a suitable length of closed-cell foam strip of a similar cross-section.

Edit - like what Roger said above.

Bob what is the problem with the gasket, why do you want to replace it?
You could carefully remove it and wrap with an overlapping PTFE tape,
if it is leaking.

If you've a 'dimpled' van it would be best to have a more 'spongy' seal to fit the dimples to ensure a water tight job ! So as mentioned maybe adhesive domestic door/window draught excluder ?

Is it possible that the green mark in the bottom of the lens is caused by a little bit of standing condensation rather a duff sealing strip?

Judged from that photograph alone, the strip looks to be in pretty good nick.
