As of now, there should be no more adverts on the site.
Please avail yourselves of all the features which were previously hidden beneath irritating commercials for sauerkraut and lederhosen.
For those people who haven't happened upon it, or were unable to access it thanks to a Volkswagen advertisement, there's a little drop-down menu which drops down from your user name (top right).
This handily counter-intuitive feature provides a list of all the posts made since you were last here

Well done guys, it was fine on PC but a pain in the Googles on my Nexus 4

No more advertising presumably means the cost of running the forum is rising. Having not been in at the start, I am not au fait with the finances, or indeed how much a forum such as this costs to run, particularly when one considers the Admins partiality for 18 year old Macallan 
However, is it time to spread the financial load amongst the members, perhaps in a similar way to the other place?
If so, happy to contribute.

It's been left up to me to thank everyone who has offered a financial contribution towards the running of this forum. Currently, Graculus, Pepe, TeePee and I have paid out for the domain name and web hosting, including yesterday's ad free upgrade, until October 2014.
We have decided that the current overall cost per annum is manageable between the four of us and if we were to accept your kind donations we would have to become involved in keeping payment records and accounts which for the amount we are talking about, is hardy worth while.
We are of course, very grateful for everyone's offers and shall bear them in mind should the situation change in the future.
