Just being full of cold and bored I have googled and came across this interesting clip. Not sure if they have even been produced:

Looks very trendy and technical and oh dear I've just shown that to OH and he's very taken with it!!! Do you think it would fit the Troll (awning rail height 198 cm) and still allow the door to open? I wonder what sort of weather it would take. (Mind you judging by the other things they make you'd have to be careful it didn't take off with you.)

That white zippable door that appeared when the van was moved would make a great projection screen!

So I asked if it would fit an Eriba and the reply came back very quickly:
We are sorry, the tent fit only to VW T5 and T6 and Mercedes V Class. No chance to make it fit to other vehicles.
Best Regards Sven

I think it would probably fit the rail, as the T4/5 is fairly low although higher than older Eriba's. The flap for the driveway is flexible enough as most driveways are. I think some just say it won't fit Eribas as they can't be bothered to investigate if it would. Best to see if they have a demonstrator or attend any shows so you could look into it. Look great though.

I would look into the span of it and if it would cut across windows in the Eriba.

Very expensive though compared to others although it looks great.

Only distributed from Germany though apparently. Not keen to risk it if they aren't going to be helpful. Will keep a look out. (Back to considering the Vango Kela!)

I was in love with these inflatable tents until I met a woman here who owns a campsite down the road. She said they inflate well and are great to use, but so many people have terrible trouble getting them down small enough to get them in the bag they came with.

Hi Islay the trick with getting the air awning back in the bag is roll it up twice first time to remove the air and second time too fold and pack into bag we have the vango kela we used with our camper and fits the triton brilliantly

I'll pass on the tip. Apparently it can make for fun watching - people's antics trying to tame their tents!

When we were in Saumur for Easter, there was a Belgian couple next to us with a brand spanking new Eriba Nova and they put their awning up like the pros you see on you tube. Very impressive. They didn't even bicker LOL
